We spent an amusing few minutes watching this guy getting in a bit of a tangle as he tried to negotiate an awkward section of a tree. The scene is in the Yanchep National Park, 50 kms north of Perth, Western Australia which is one of the few areas of our state where Koalas are found. They are not in captivity as such but certainly know which side their bread is buttered as their staple diet – gum leaves – is in never ending supply.
I should add that this is less than 5 minutes from our home.
