We had to stop and hang around while he decided to make his way across the road in front of us, sniffing at everything in his path and being not in the least bit concerned at us breathing down his neck. As an idea of size he was about 4’ long and stood about 6" or more while walking. I very bravely got out of the car to bring this photo to you!! (wouldn’t have done that for everybody!! LOL)
This was taken in the Fitzgerald River National Park in the far south of Western Australia one day last spring. We would have been about 600 kms south east of Perth and were heading for Esperance.
