We launched leggings! Step into a world of individuality.

At Regans Ford, about 145 kms north of Perth, Western Australia. The ford was constructed during the late 19th century so that bullocks could be driven across the Moore River. It was well built and to this day is quite capable of carrying cars and trucks, although it is not used for this purpose any longer.
It’s a very pleasant picnic spot and rest area off the Brand Highway and there is a roadhouse close by, as well as an overnight camping and caravan facility.

    Very nice

  • Thanks very much for this visit and I’m delighted that you like the photo. A look in your portfolio tells me that you, like me, are a water person so I’ll be trying hard to visit your photos. Take care, Peter

you are very lucky where you live Peter such beautiful places to visit and all that sun too. I was just reading one of your comments and I think you said it has been 37c , I don’t think we have ever had it that warm or hot here . Another beautiful shot and reflections .

  • You say the sweetest things! Thanks heaps mate! So far this year every day has been in excess of 33 C and today’s forecast is for another 37 degrees. But a cool change is promised and Monday and Tuesday should see it drop dramatically to around 27/28 degrees, so we might be able to get a few jobs done outside. Take care, Peter

Beautiful Peter and such fantastic reflections!! :D

  • Thanks very much Evita. I started off taking photos on the other side – where my wife is standing – but it wasn’t until I walked across the ford that I realised how much better it all looked. Best wishes, Peter

    Absolute magic Peter.

  • Thanks very much Arthur. You have probably done this yourself – driven past a spot countless times without stopping, never realising what you were missing. That’s the case here when for once we weren’t dashing to get anywhere special and decided to stop for an earlier than usual coffee break – which turned out to be of almost 2 hours duration! All the best, Peter

Hi Peter I like the lovely reflections, and you’ve managed to capture once again one of those Ausies who can walk on water, but instead this one looks to be floating in the air. Marvellous capture and story too. Don.

  • Glad you like this one Don and Betty was tickled pink that you thought she looked to be floating on air! Thanks mate – it was good to hear her laughing like that. Peter
