Little Beach,near Albany,Western Australia
A most delightful spot which owes it’s near isolation to being some 15 kms off the main road. It fronts the Southern Ocean in the south west of Western Australia and would be approximately 480 kms south of Perth and about 25 kms east of Albany.

Very many thanks. This has long been one of our favourite places which, despite being some 500 kms from our home, we visit as often as we can. Peter

Just had to go look! It’s really beautiful this one, Peter, especially the water colour. Love the composition!

Thanks very much Hillie and it’s great that you should take the trouble to go right back in time like this. When we first used to visit this area it was served by a 15 kms gravel road that was invariably corrugated to blazes! Around the turn of the century it was mercifully sealed which makes access so much easier, yet for all that it is still visited by surprisingly few people. It is one very gorgeous place! Peter

Peter, I’m a bit slow but I just noticed the title lol… We visited Albany around ‘84 when we lived in Perth. I enjoyed it very much. I happen to like the cooler weather and it was all so picturesque. Don’t think we got down to the beach but I do remember the dramatic skies and the views. Beautiful!
