Situated on the Southern Ocean side of Cape Leeuwin in the far south west of Western Australia, close to the small town of Augusta and some 400+ kms south of Perth. Lovely seascape Peter!

  • georgieboy98 replied

Very many thanks Claire. There are hundreds of photo ops down Cape Leeuwin way as you will know. The main thing is being there on a reasonably decent day! Many’s the time I can remember being just 5 or 6 miles up the road basking in brilliant sunshine while the Cape has been shrouded in heavy cloud! Take care, Peter

Great seascape Peter, isnt it grand along this coast?

  • georgieboy98 replied

Thanks very much Adrian. For sure there are some wonderful photos just waiting to be taken all the way between here and Windy Harbour – it’s a great stretch of completely unspoilt coast. Regards, Peter

There are these incredible knockout colours and contrasts again – that ND filter must make a big difference. I do use a circular polarizer but oftentimes find that it makes the sky too dark and changes the colour of the water too much. I have to use the screen instead of the viewfinder (glasses) and can’t ever tell while taken the picture with the polarizer how much it is actually polarizing (did that make sense?)...
