Perth as viewed from the Federation walkway
In recent years a mini version of the famed Treetop walk has been built in Perth’s Kings Park. Known as the Federation Walkway it mingles with the upper branches of many of the large trees and also affords the most spectacular river and city views. This is one such view, looking down over the former Swan Brewery and across the Narrows Bridge to the City, along the south bank of which flows the lovely Swan River which comes down from those distant hills of the Darling Range.

Thanks very much and it is a lovely scene, for sure. You’ve probably done this Federation walkway and will know well the wonderful views that it has opened up. Quite honestly it was a toss up whether I uploaded this photo or another one looking the other way across the old brewery to the southern suburbs of Applecross and Attadale. Take care. Peter xx

Many thanks Mik. Goodness knows how many photos would be taken every day of this scene! There were 3 or 4 others shooting away while I was there!
