Wonderful view
This is the zoomed view west from Observatory beach lookout a few k’s west of Esperance, Western Australia. We are looking at Nine Mile and Ten mile beaches and the road we are on is a most delightful scenic drive that is a must for every visitor to this town. The beaches of Esperance, which are all part of the Recherche Archipelago, have often been referred to by global travellers as the finest in the world and I am not about to dispute that.
Despite the fact that it is over 700 kms from Perth, we have visited the area several times, either back in the days when we were working or else during the rather more recent years of our retirement.
Photo taken with my Sony Alpha 350 dslr using a 55-200 lens with neutral densityfilter and tripod mounted.

Stunning scenery Peter and well shot! Been to Esperance myself years ago and must have forgotton how far away it was from Perth. Shocked when you said 700kms. It seemed like a hop, skip and jump way back then.
