Another scene on one of the many walking trails in our local Yanchep National Park, 50 kms north of Perth, Western Australia. Was a nice day for bush walking – fairly cool.

Can I bring the dog?? lol- could enjoy this Peter- just wonderful!!!
georgieboy98 replied
Thanks Pauline, very much. Unfortunately you’ll have to leave the dog at home – it’s a National Park and dogs are not allowed. But you can always take some pictures and then show him what he’s missed!! Peter

Peter, looks a great place for a stroll !

Thanks mate. It is actually and the beauty of it is that it’s all dead level and you can’t say that of any other the other trails in the park. Peter

Looks like the kind of place we’d enjoy a leisurely saunter! Beautiful image, Peter. :)

I should have explained that it’s the trees that are leaning, NOT ME!!! LOL Peter

A lovely shot great colours and light.

Mmmmm! That light looks as shough it’s been filtered through bush fire smoke! Very effective, and quite harmless to the environment! lol

Nice time of the year although it’s really warming up here. nice warm shot Peter. Lovely to see the sun shining on the path.

Hi Jay. It’s starting to warm up nicely over here now as well. Thanks for the visit and kind words. Peter

It does look a great place for a walk Peter with the heavy canopy of the trees keeping the heat from you on your travels, I’m amazed at how red the soil is in places over there, nicely done my friend,
Regards, Rod.
georgieboy98 replied
Thanks Rod. I think the red is basically the build up of leaf mould from jarrah trees etc although the soil in the park DOES have a reddish tint now you mention it. Funny because I’ve never realised that before!! Regards, Peter

glorious place, my sort of place, I could walk here for hours, wonderful light and trees. hugsxxx

Thanks Hilary. This is only a few minutes from home for us and we tend to do a lot of walking through the trees and surrounding bush. This actually marks the start of some 8 bush tracks that fan out in all directions. Some are short (2 or 3 kms) and others are around 20/25 kms, so there’s quite a variety to suit all tastes. Hugs, Peter
