Middleton Beach vista

Large size viewing is best for this one, which is an overall view from Mt Clarence, Albany, showing the extent of Middleton Beach and King George Sound, the wonderful golf course, Lake Seppings (on extreme left – a great place for bird photography), Oyster Harbour (top left) and Emu Point (far end of the beach) Middleton Beach is a suburb of Albany and just a few minutes drive from the town centre. There is a boardwalk that goes all around the foot of Mt Clarence and the views from this are stunning to say the least! Albany is about 450 kms south of Perth, Western Australia!http://images-3.redbubble.com/img/art/framecolor:black/framestyle:flat30/mattecolor:off%20white/product:framed-print/size:small/view:preview/1120927-1-middleton-beach-vista.jpg!.

Good morning Tainia and many thanks. This is a place we never tire of despite visiting almost every year since 1972. Hugs, peter

Thanks Wayne – and right now there are three white pointers out there that wont go away so the beach is closed indefinitely. Peter.

Very many thanks. This is fairly topical actually because last Saturday a schoolteacher, whilst swimming, was attacked and badly mauled by a white pointer shark in the bay on the right. It was 7.30 in the morning and he was dead lucky because a lady was opening up the life saving hut, heard his cries for help and swam out to save him, despite the shark circling round her all the time! She has today been recommended for a bravery award by the State Government. Peter
