Basilica Santa Maria del Fiore, Florence, Italy by

Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore or Il Duomo di Firenze (Basilica of Saint Mary of the Flower in English) is the main church of Florence, Italy. It was built between 1296 and 1436, and the decoration of the exterior, which began in the 14th century, was not completed until 1887. The fabulous facade with marble in various shades of green, pink and white is simply breathtaking.
