Greetings, my photography is a huge part of my life since I was a child. I remember at age 8 being given a Barbie camera, I snapped a few shots with the limit supply of film. By the time I got the photo’s back I had practically forgotten I had a camera but the images are what propelled me into looking at the world around me. I never took my photography seriously until I was 16 and saw that it could be more than a bit of fun, it could be my livelihood. I studied photographer for a year in college but did not do the following year as I found the environment to have a negative effect of my work. The course was primarily done in film and the final year is absolutely no digital. I enjoyed shooting in film, spending hours developing the film and then shoot the photograph’s but came to the decision that digital is the way to go. It is easier on my wallet and allows me to view my work before I even finish a shoot.
I primarily shoot nature, landscapes and flora being my main focus. However I have done studio photography, shooting objects, fashion models, glamour and nude.
I now run a Bed and Breakfast in the very heart of West Cork, on the infamous Sheep’s Head peninsular. I enjoy the work but want to someday take my photography to the next level.
