Feeling the wind as it blows through my hair
Touching my skin so gently
Smell of fresh roses and daffodils in sight
As it approaches midnight

I lay on the ground and look to the stars
In amazement of such beauty
Love that sweet summer smell
Birds flying above the clouds
Singing songs of joy and mystery
With such flight
Quietness, stillness in the midnight

Living, enjoying life and nature
In your arms, I lay
Side by side, in our own world
Keep holding me close, my love
How blissful I am, in pure elation
Love is my daylight
As I look into your eyes in the midnight

Sorrow as the end of summer approaches
I don’t want you to leave
Must I say goodbye?
In the blackness I know I must say
Goodbye to summer and roses white
I will miss my summer midnight

I love the spring/summer months. Afterwards, doesn’t it get too cold? Well, it does for me.
