While taking a walk along the banks of the Wingecarribe River in Berrima, the small historic 1830s town in the Southern Highlands of NSW, I was brought to a stop. The eagle eye of fellow RB’er Rosalie Dale spotted this water dragon lizard* sunning itself on a rock. (*To be correctly identified).
We had to move very slowly so as not to disturb it, and I managed to get close enough to “Lizzie” to take a shot with my lens at the maximum 70mm. No time to play with camera settings – this was taken in Landscape mode and the picture was given a fair bit of a cropping. View Larger – if you dare!
