Venutian?

George Petrovsky

Thirlmere, Australia

Artist's Description

Once again, one could be excused for thinking that this is a piece of seaweed,
washed up on the sands of the beach at Carpenters Rocks, on the Limestone Coast of South Australia.

In fact, following on from the previous image of the Venutian Transit, this is the creature that struggled through the icy landscape, only to fall down from exhaustion and become partially buried, later to be found by exploring space archaeologists. Remember – you saw it here first!

Nikon D80, Sigma 17-70mm OS @ 70mm, 1/125 sec @ f4, CPL, ISO 200, Program, Pattern metering, Auto Exp & WB. Processed in PS Elements 3.
