Artist's Description

Now silent cannon.
Its once destructive powers
Reduced to flowers.

Does anyone remember the song: Where have all the Flowers gone?
A great rendition by Peter, Paul and Mary is the version that I still remember, which encapsulates the futility and sad destruction of all and any War. “When will they ever learn… when will they ever learn?”
Having served in the Royal Australian Artillery, this picture has a special significance for me, as we again approach ANZAC Day. Located at Moss Vale, in the Southern Highlands of NSW, Australia.

Nikon P5100, 1/426sec @ f2.7, ISO 64, FL7.50mm, Program setting, Auto exposure and WB, selective colour done in Photoshop Elements 3.
