When the sun came out the other day, I went for a drive to the Burragorang Valley Lookout. Where I currently live is shown by a small yellow dot above the word me in the central picture. I don’t how well you will be able to see it. The little yellow dot above that is where the Lookout is located. The top right picture is the view looking South-West from there, I’ll be posting my picture of it later.
Up in the top LH corner is the picture of the old Burragorang Guest house, with a little yellow dot showing the location of the “Flying Guest” I recently posted.
The pictures along the LH side of the display show some pictures of the Warragamba Dam under construction. This is highly significant to me, as my Dad was a worker in its construction when we came to Australia in 1949. I must go and revisit the Dam and get some updated pictures of it.
Nikon D80, Sigma 17-70mm OS lens @ 19mm, 1/60 sec @ f3.20, ISO 100 Pattern metering, Auto exposure and WB. Cropped and processed in PS Elements 3. Yes, you can see the distortion in the lens. I tried using a circular polarising filter to reduce the reflections, but without success.
