Waterfowl and Pond (after Monet) by

Thousands will disagree that this looks anything like Claude Monet’s work.

Still, I continue to go out to Fagan Park and try to look at a scene, then imagine it as one of his paintings, then try to put that idea into pixels using my PSE3.

Technical Stuff: Nikon D80, 18-200VR lens @ 26mm, hand held. 1/250 sec, f5.0, Shutter priority, Pattern metering, Auto Exp & WB. PSE3: lots of mucking about.

About George Petrovsky

An old photographer and his dog trying to come to grips with what turns an ordinary photograph into a worthwhile picture. (For whom?) Perhaps strive to take a worthwhile photograph in the first place? The digital darkroom is a creative, fascinating place. Now, if only I could learn to use it and the cameras I have properly……

Now, you know all my stuff is Copyright. If you try and pinch any of it, I’ll jump through your screen and rip your bloody arms off!
