Once again, during my stop, I was looking at the effects of the sunset on the surrounding countryside. The low flying clouds were changing shape and colour by the minute. Here, it almost looks as if the larger cloud is snarling at the one to its left, which seems to be reeling back in some alarm. No, I don’t drink and drive, especially on the road between Stockinbingal and Cootamundra, in the Riverina area of NSW.

Sony W 630, Auto Intelligent mode, 1/40 sec @ f 2.6, ISO 80. Cropped to a 3:2 format and processed in PaintShop Pro X5.

An old photographer and his dog trying to find what turns a photograph into a worthwhile picture. Perhaps try to take a worthwhile photograph in the first place? The digital darkroom is a creative, fascinating place. If only I could learn to use it and the cameras I have to best effect… I love “mucking around”, as you can see!

Now, you know all my stuff is Copyright If you try and pinch any of it, I’ll jump through your screen and rip your bloody arms off!
