An old photographer and his dog trying to find what turns a photograph into a worthwhile picture. Perhaps try to take a worthwhile photograph in the first place? The digital darkroom is a creative, fascinating place. If only I could learn to use it and the cameras I have to best effect… I love “mucking around”, as you can see!

Now, you know all my stuff is Copyright If you try and pinch any of it, I’ll jump through your screen and rip your bloody arms off!

so romantic! wonderful setting and capture! love your description too – “Just the two of us…” came to mind :)
I’ll have Devonshire tea, please, if it comes with freshly baked scones, strawberry jam and clotted cream (that’s how it is served in the real Devonshire)

  • Yes, Irina – I’ve had the pleasure of consuming several genuine Devonshire teas, all with home made scones, real strawberry jam and clotted cream….I still remember the taste after 37 years!! “Tea for two and two for tea…” – an old tune you may recall, in cha-cha rhythm…. I’ll save a seat for you and thanks muchly for the Fave too! :) george

love all textures of old construction, wonderful image

  • Glad you like this little corner of this old building, Luda. It used to be a flour mill which was partly destroyed by fire and given a new life as the Licorice Factory. Thanks for the Fave as well – appreciated! :)george

I would gladly accept the invitiation my friend; a simple cup of coffee and a wonderful chat to catch-up would be priceless; and when we’re done chatting hours later, this looks like the perfect spot to just sit and watch the rest of the mad world around us go by. And we continue to contemplate. Awesome capture of a great setting my friend. Hany

  • G’day, Hany – I will unreservedly reserve this corner for us! They make a great coffee here and with some chocolate mud-cake supplementation, will allow us to solve the problems of the World – and then some!
There is a passing parade of people from all points of the compass here, interesting to watch and listen to, as are the musos who perform on some days… An interesting place – come on down! :)george
