Flower & Fly
The highlands bush near my caravan provides a profusion of native wildflowers. Some have called this area the george bush…..
Here, I’ve dusted off my old Tamron 28-300 lens and used a tripod and electronic shutter release. Aperature priority, ISO100, f11, 155mm and 1/50sec. The flower was no more than 1ft high, so I had to get down and dirty.
During processing, I discovered a tiny fly on what is a thumbnail sized flower!

G’day George,
What a dainty, intricate, pretty li’l native flower this is!
The technical part of the photography has produced an image with good exposure, great depth of field, very good focus, nice contrast and lovely natural colours. The bokeh is very well done.
The creative part of this photograph shows off the tiny flower and even more miniscule fly in a well presented composition.
Well done that man!
