Paying tribute to my Collaborator in my Fashion Productions of the period 1993-1995 in Greece, I do recognize George Kypreos as the most prominent Greek Portrait Photographer of his generation. Combining magnetic freshness and fluent sensual sexuality managed to capture insuperably my deepest unconscious while I used to command the ’’texture’’ of the soul the Models we hired for our shootings ought to have. This photo with Mary Helen Shashy holding the front cover of English Vogue No 10, October 1990 with the main editorial and Make-up of the famous TYEN, was main idea of George Kypreos while I personally had the responsibility to create the angles of the frame and the body Make-up of Mary Helen in this shooting of 1994. The photo confronted the absolute rejection of the fashion establishment of Greece -especially by the most famous Model Agency of that time in Athens which 5 to 6 years later ended up in total disfavour. Congratulations to redbubble for the layout of the site.
