Artist's Description

In the arid semi-desert country around the town of Osoyoos in south-central British Columbia, Canada, irrigation has transformed the barren soil into highly productive vineyards, some of the most productive in Canada. The hot,dry and sunny climate provides the ideal conditions, all that’s needed is water and the desert blooms.

August 2006, Sony DSCF828 camera
