Trees grow big on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, but it’s often difficult to notice because they’re almost all big and they just blend into a mass. So when I spotted this big cedar standing almost alone, it looked like an interesting shot. Especially with the house huddled underneath. Taken a few miles south of Duncan, on the eastern side of the island.
Hi Mike..yes, it’s quite impressive because of the location. There’s bigger ones in the rain-forests but almost impossible to photo and get any kind of perspective, so I jumped at this one!
