When you see something like this in your side mirror, and you’re in the middle of a considerable wilderness, it’s not really a good sign. About half-way between Yoho National Park and Glacier National Park, British Columbia, Canada, on the Trans-Canada Highway, traffic ground to a halt, and stayed that way for over an hour. Unfortunately there was an accident ahead, and both lanes were blocked. So there was little to do but admire the scenery, chat with the folks in other cars, and break out the food and coffee. Yes, we always travel with a supply of both, for just such times as this.
