South west Alberta, Canada, in an area known as Kananaksis Country. A cluster of parks south of Banff National Park, with some of the most beautiful mountain scenery anywhere. Numerous ranges of the Rocky Mountains, with deep valleys, pristine mountain lakes, streams and wetlands, wildlife, and forests sweeping down the slopes into valleys sheltered by mountain walls enveloped in swirling clouds of mist and rain. Wild nature barely touched by the hand of man, and that’s a good thing.
