Any entrance into Banff National Park is spectacular. Awhile ago I posted one of the entrance at the northern end, going south. This is at the southern end, going north, with the Bow River in the foreground. Located in Alberta, Canada, Banff is Canada’s oldest national park, established in 1885 in the Rocky Mountains. The park encompasses 6,641 square kilometres (2,564 sq mi)1 of mountainous terrain, with numerous glaciers and ice fields, dense coniferous forest, and alpine landscapes.
