First, I apologize for a lack of sharpness in this shot. It was at the extreme reach of my 400mm. lens and even then I had to crop it to get big enough to appreciate the fun this little girl was having. No idea of the Make of the tripod, but it was doing a great job as a swing set while Mom was farther down the slope probably looking for the next shot. I thought it was too good to miss!
Taken on the slopes of Mount Norquay in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada.

George, how perfect is this ??? I love it. I’m betting Mom would have had a heart attack had she seen what was going on somehow LOL A Fave my friend. :>)) Leslie

  • Hi Leslie, glad you liked it! I saw the girl do it once and then she stopped and played awhile. I thought she might do it again so I propped myself against a tree and waited, and the little sweetie obliged! Once in awhile I get lucky!!
    Thanks for the fave!

You want to find out the make of that tripod quick! It HAS to be sturdy to stand up to this treatment. Mum was lucky though! LOL What a great opportunistic shot this is – photo journalism at it’s best – you should submit it to one or two photo magazines!

  • Hi Peter..it was a classic case of “right place, right time” lol! You sure can’t plan something like that! Thanks for the suggestion, I think I may try that and see what happens..I’ll let you know :)
    Cheers,
