On the south shore of Nova Scotia, Canada, there’s a place called the LaHave Islands, a group of islands, beaches and islets, connected by small one-lane bridges, with tiny fishing communities such as this one at Bush Island. The small harbour provides a safe haven for the small in-shore fishing boats, largely used for lobster fishing out in the Atlantic Ocean. Piles of lobster traps are on the wharf at the right side of the photo. Fishing sheds and homes surround the wharf area.
