A young, but very big, bull moose lazily browsing in Cape Breton Highlands National Park, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada. The last strip of “velvet” hangs from his antlers. The remainder has been rubbed off, as the mating season is very near. At first sight he seemed a little perturbed, but after a few minutes of quietly watching each other, he turned back to his lunch and was a perfect model.

Awesome capture George. They are awesome to see.

  • This guy was really a big fellow. I was hoping to have something to use as perspective but he was determined to just stand and browse..lol!
