Artist's Description

About 10,000 years ago the last Ice Age left it’s dying gasp on the coastline of Nova Scotia, Canada, scouring the landscape and leaving behind the islands, bogs, massive granite boulders and other reminders of the forces that passed by and disappeared. Here on the shore of St. Margaret’s Bay, at the community of Indian Harbour, seabirds forage on the seaweed-covered rocks, and a small offshore island, strewn with boulders, has managed to collect enough soil to nourish a collection of moss, lichens and grass.
The stormy skies of late Fall brood over the Atlantic Ocean.
