Castle Mountain is in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada, near the south end. Because it’s separated a little from the main range of the Rocky Mountains, it’s quite prominent and stands out majestically over the surrounding forest.Most of my photos of it have been in the winter but this time I managed to be there in the early Fall, and it has quite a different aspect. It was early evening and I was lucky enough to catch the low sunlight.
