Stormy seas always have an attraction for many people, so when I made another sojourn to Clover Point, on the coast of Victoria, Vancouver Island,British Columbia, Canada, I wasn’t the only one. Several other groups were just as happy (?) to get wet, blown around, and generally tell themselves they wee having a great time.
I guess we all were! A heavy rain squall almost obliterates the Olympic Mountains in Washington State, across the Strait of Juan de Fuca.We got doused a few minutes later.

Thanks David. Since the mountains are rained out, it sort of looks like a lot of places down home, eh?

So neat, the 3 silouette figures are nicely framed within the white splash. I could also see this really work by cropping out the sky and a good portion; more than 1/3 of foreground to really impact the storm activity along the shoreline. Nice shot!

  • Thanks very much Elisabeth. much appreciated!. I think I did a crop on the lines you’ve suggested and I thought I’d posted it too, but apparently not..lol! Must be in the “pending” file, I’ll try to dig it out!
