Beacon Hill Park is located along the south shore of Victoria,Vancouver Island, British Columbia,Canada. The waters of the Strait of Juan de Fuca border the park and offer beautiful views across to the Olympic Mountains in Washington State. The Park has belonged to the city of Victoria since 1882, when a trust was established for the 62-acre (24.8-hectare) site. It includes many gardens, ponds, a petting zoo for children, and is only a short walk from the downtown core of the city.
It’s a great place to just sit on a bench and enjoy being outdoors in nature, as this couple were doing.

A lovely scene, George! We may have to take it in the next trip up to Victoria!

  • Hi Pat..you really should do that, take a day and wander all through the park, you’ll enjoy it so much. Plus you have the oceanfront just across the street and that’s another whole memory card..lol!
