Nothing as romantic, to anyone who loves ships,
as a square-rigger coming in from an Atlantic Ocean breeze and nearing the coastline of Nova Scotia, Canada.

Can’t miss that granite! Good one, George. Excellent lighting!
Hi David, it was along the shore between Peggy’s Cove and Indian Harbour, close to the Swissair Memorial. But the granite is all the same..lol! Hard on the knees!Doesn’t look it, but this was in between some ripping good rain squalls.

Great capture and what an awesome looking ship !!
Hi Sean, how are you doing? Good to see you again, and many thanks for the compliment. Without the ship it wouldn’t have been much, that was a stroke of luck..lol!

Another Beautiful capture.
Thanks Eva..I think you really like sailing ships..am I right? BTW, my Dad was a merchant seaman and back in the late 1930’s he sailed out of Bergen and Narvik. I used to follow him on maps. I have some old photos of his ship on my site, the “North Sea” series.
