This is Middle Waterton Lake, much smaller and not nearly as famous as Upper Waterton Lake, but it does have it’s own quiet beauty and charm. Located in Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta, Canada, with somewhat lower ridges of the Rocky Mountains along the eastern shoreline. This view is looking to the North. I have several views, more or less the same, but the others had a gentleman sitting on the edge of the bluff admiring the view and I’ve discovered that “man-made” includes human beings, which I suppose is literally true since I am a man and did play a part in “making” my sons, though it seems a bit far-fetched and precludes using a small human figure to show scale and proportion in a scene like this. Or maybe the term refers to the clothing, which is man-made of course. Unless it’s machine-made.
In any case, We have none in this image, so I hope you will be content with the scenery as it is.
