Looking south from the place where I took the first “Bosporus” photo, this shows the same connecting link where it opens into Upper Waterton Lake in Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta, Canada. The mountains are the Canadian Rockies.
This lake extends southward into Montana where the Waterton park joins Glacier National Park to form the Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Beautiful! The landscape is breathtaking, but I really like the man walking in the corner.. unusual for a landscape photo like this and it really gives the scenery scale!! Nice light!

  • Hi Kevin, many thanks for your kind comment. I saw that man go down over the hill and decided to wait and see if he came back up. It worked just fine. I agree, it’s so much better to have something to give scale and the light was really perfect that day.

Great shot George showing the line of lake and mountains. I like the walker setting off too. Tony

Thanks very much Tony, I was lucky to have that walker come back up the hill, even though it was rejected by one group because he was in it! I think it’s more interesting to see someone else who’s enjoying the scene too.
