Artist's Description

Probably someone thought this resembled the Bosporus in Turkey, because it serves the same purpose: connecting two bodies of water via a narrow passage. This one is in Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta, Canada, and connects Upper and Middle Waterton Lakes, at the point where the Prince of Wales Hotel stands.
