Probably someone thought this resembled the Bosporus in Turkey, because it serves the same purpose: connecting two bodies of water via a narrow passage. This one is in Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta, Canada, and connects Upper and Middle Waterton Lakes, at the point where the Prince of Wales Hotel stands.

Glad you liked them Leslie. Jann and I take many shots that overlap so we try to put different ones on our sites. You and John would love it, we really think it’s the best of the parks, and that was a hard decision to come to..lol!
