Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta, Canada, the smallest of the great Rocky Mountain parks in Alberta, but in many ways, the most beautiful. Possibly because it’s easy to get around, and the scenery surrounding the three main lakes is truly a paradise. Jann and I tried to get there for several years and finally made it, thanks to Vickie Emms and friends setting up a Red Bubble Meet N’ Greet at the park.
Jann is shooting one of a great many pictures of Upper Waterton Lake, which stretches southward and ends in Montana, in Glacier National Park.
The two parks combine into the Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park, a World Heritage Site.

Oh Wow George how beautiful this is! I’m betting Jann didn’t know she was on camera :)) John does the same kind of thing to me. :>)) Leslie
Hi Leslie, you’re very kind!! Well, she probably knew, because I do it a lot, but she also does it to me, so fair’s fair! Sometimes I like to have someone in the shot to give more appeal, and since we’re usually off on our own, we have just ourselves as the “model”. You and John probably have the same situation many times. It comes from being independent..haha!!

Paradise indeed!
You’re right, David! If one doesn’t have a lot of time available, that’s the park to go to.It’s got everything in the way of scenery but much fewer people:)

I missed this one, wow I love it. Dear Jann you look so relaxed and enjoying the view, I believe from the hill at the Prince of Wales Hotel? Am I right, do I win, what do I win?
Thanks so much Vickie..you’re right, that’s where she was standing. I’d taken a bunch of shots while she was cruising the gift shop, so when she came out to take her own, I had my “model”..lol! So you win the “TWO THUMBS UP Award”..haha! I’ll send you a BM!
