After another wash over the seawall, the undertow ebbs back into the sea where it meets the next incoming storm surge head-on in a clash of foam and floating debris. The oceanfront at Ross Bay in southern Victoria,Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada during a vigorous Pacific storm.

    Not too many folks having a swim, I see, and I thought you were a hardy lot out west! Great capture, George. You can almost hear those waves crashing onto the shore!

  • You know, I went down there hoping to get some good surfing shots, but nobody was out, I guess conditions were just too dicey. But the waves made up for that, though between the rain and the spray I was pretty soaked lol!!
