All decked out in stormy weather gear, these two were willing to pose despite the gale that was making it hard to keep their eyes open. I came across them on the top of the cliffs along Dallas Road on the southern waterfront of Victoria, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, during a wild storm that was keeping most people (and dogs) under cover.
And I forgot to ask their owner what breed they were, so anyone who can do it, fill me in and I’ll edit this posting. I’ve no idea of their background, but I’d say they were VERY well cared for, since the owner never went beyond a few feet from me while I took the picture!

WBD’s George. Wee Broon Dugs. Hope that helps. Great shot of these two tough little guys. The far one’s coat is pretty cool, peace signs and all!
Cute, George! I remember Dallas Road very well indeed.
Hi David..yep, great place for watching storms, people and dogs, along with ships and surfers. Probably my favourite place to spend time with a camera.

LOL!!! Mike, I can always count on you for help :))) You’re right, it’s as good as any! Yeah, the lady was just a wee one herself, I think the dogs could have been her anchor, but she was very nice and didn’t mind hanging on while I got the shot!
Glad to be of assistance! My knowledge of wee dogs is extensive, as you can see.
Great shot!
Thanks Joycee, you’re my first comment of 2011..lol!
