They may be scavengers, but I have always loved gulls. They can be the very essence of flight, or noisy clowns and everything in between. And when they’re just taking it easy, they are really a beautiful bird.
This one was perched on a rock on the shore of the Pacific Ocean, south -west coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada.
