Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, southern shoreline of the city of Victoria. A series of strong winter storms hit the island and most of the B.C. Coast around Christmas. I spent a few hours on the waterfront to try to get some storm pictures and I liked the way this tree, stripped bare of all it’s leaves, stood bravely against the gale, especially when I had to crouch behind a big rock to get a steady shot. Where’s the tripod when you need it??
