Actually, two of them. Part of a small fleet of antique cars operated as a sight-seeing venture on the waterfront at Victoria, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. The cars are only permitted to operate on the island, but really attract attention when they’re out on the roads.

Wow! What a couple of beauties, George! Wonderful capture. There was a newspaper article in our local rag just the other day about a restoration specialist just up the road in Long Sault who spent three years restoring one of only two Bugatti models left in the world. Amazing cars!
There’s several other old timers in the group, I think I have shots of some of them too. Have to go digging again. I’d spotted one on the street and didn’t know where it came from until one evening we were wandering around the waterfront and there they were!

I wonder it they’re originals or replicas. The tyres and rims look a little too modern and the originals are worth millions. Still beauties, though!
No idea Mike, but I have the brochure around here somewhere, it might say in that. It’s quite possible they are replicas. I’m not a car buff, so I’d never spot any differences. All I care about is if the motor starts and it goes where I want to get to..lol!!!

No info. on the brochure and not that much on the site either. Check it out:

Beauty, George. Do you ever watch Top Gear? They had the new Bugatti on some weeks back – quite the machine!
Guess I have to ask, what is Top Gear?

It’s a Brit program on BBC Canada, George, all about cars and a very funny show. If you have a chance, definitely worth at least one watch! lol
OK David I’ll give it a crack!
