I knew before I hovered over George. Fabulous. You really captured this beautiful pair crisp and clear. Love the pink background. Ah to see this again :-))

  • Thanks Vickie! I do believe I’ve run out of those pics..lol! It was truly a lovely evening and we feel the same; just gotta go back again!

I hope it’s there again next year. We have quite the Alberta year coming up with daughter’s graduation in June and her wedding in October. wonder if we could combine the meet and greet with one of those months :-)))
Oh I took another look at my horses and was going to upload one beside yours so they could talk over the fence, hmmmm not good enough though. Sorry yours are done too, oh well next time

  • I thought you were going to stay home this year and admire your garden..lol! think I have a couple more horsey pics but not at the campground. Jann has a whole bunch but hasn’t managed to get around to them yet. They were down the road aways.

yes we are George. We won’t be camping for 6 weeks, we will car trip, and if it’s Waterton area quite likely try that little place in Mtn. View you stayed at. Sounded good. Then home again. I was going to keep that part for a surprise in case you and Jann come out again

Ok..the place is called the Mountain View Motel (surprise !)and we found it quite nice. They have a couple of kitchen/bedroom/living room suites and we had one on the back, facing Chief Mountain and the cabins you’ve seen in a couple of my postings. There’s also a gas station and general store attached, and I think maybe a small snack bar. Not sure because we didn’t spend much time there and just bought some groceries and did our own cooking. But nice friendly people, I’m sure you’d like it, and only a short hop to Waterton.
We’d like to go back but have no idea what the schedule will be next year. In other words, What Schedule??? LOL! We’ve been trying to get up to the mountains in the fall to get some autumn-type pics and haven’t managed it yet!

You bring our Canadian West to life George once again. Maybe it’s time I think about a return visit…Jules

  • Hi Jules, what a lovely comment! Very much appreciated, and by all means make a return visit. There’s more to see than any one lifetime can cover, but we all try..lol!
