Autumn comes to Cape Breton Highlands National Park in a blaze of colours that is unmatched anywhere. Birches and maples especially come out in brilliant reds, orange and gold shades.
The park makes up of most of the north end of Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada, and is accessed by the Cabot Trail, the scenic road which encircles the same part of the island and contains the park and several small villages along the way.
