Taking any trip through the parks of the Canadian Rocky mountain chain offers innumerable spectacular scenes but I’ve always thought this part of Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada, has some truly awesome views. This one is looking down into the Bow River Valley towards the south end of the park. As usual, one can easily see the layers of ancient sea-bed from the ages when this part of North America was a shallow sea.
