I have my own ideas of what it is, but feel free to make up your own mind! It’s old, home-made, weather-worn, but still standing despite the onslaught of Atlantic Ocean storms and wild weather. It’s on the shore of Bush Island, one of the string of LaHave Islands off the south west coast of Nova Scotia, Canada, a very scenic area of beaches, forest, and tiny fishing communities dating back to the 1700’s. When the tide comes in, those boards are under water and slowly being eaten away.

LOL! Great find, George! If it’s what I think it might be, I’d hate to be firmly seated and have a breaker come splashing in. Then again one could call it a “natural bidet”…..

LOL! I’m pretty sure that’s what it is, because it’s close to the various wharves and fish sheds, but not too close to any houses. So, when the need arises quickly…haha!! And yes, the bidet and the draft come together..been there, done that, long time ago and not too far from that place:)

Great shot — maybe someone should post a sign “NO Swimming!”

Probably a good idea, though the tides provide a pretty good flushing effect..lol!Hope you got a chuckle out of it!
