Vickie, this is for you!
We were sitting around having a chat at the RB Meet N’ Greet near Waterton National Park in South-west Alberta, Canada, when these two horses started their evening stroll out on the prairie. The sun had already set, but the sky still had that beautiful rosy glow that made a perfect background and gave just enough light for this shot.

Taken from Crooked Creek Campground

Beautiful colors, George. Also a great shot of the plains. Yup, this is what I think of and am looking for when we drive anywhere.

  • Hi Kay, many thanks (also for your BM..lol!) Glad you liked it!

Beautiful image George. I truly regret not meeting you my friend. I hope for next time.

  • Many thanks Teresa, if we’d had the car with us, we would have been very tempted to go into the Parks and try to meet you, but we had to use Westjet to fit the trip in among visitors at home. But I’m sure it will happen, and soon..:)

there they are! Acting up for us again, I loved these horses, and what a site to be camped at for our party George,,,,,,,,,,,,,thanks so much for these beautiful memories………wonderful shot and my favorite sunset colors and mountains in the background, what could be better

  • I’m so happy you enjoyed the shot Vickie, I was a bit dubious when I took them, the light had started to go, but all’s well that comes out OK..:)

    Good one, George!

  • ’morning David, glad you liked it. I seldom get a chance to see many horses, but they do offer nice subjects when I can get them “in the wild”.

George this is a gorgeous shot of these horses at dusk with such a lovely pastel sky. I’m sorry we had to miss this meet and greet and am hopeful we will be at that next one. :>)) Leslie

  • Hi Leslie..that was a nice evening, we were all sitting around chatting when they came out to play, and most of us jumped up and grabbed cameras lol! Hope we can do another of those, it was a great get-together!
