The rolling prairie grasslands in southern Alberta, Canada, home to vast ranches, farms and of course, horses. We decided to take a few shots of the area when these two horses wandered over to check us out. Jann was attracting their attention so I walked down the road to get a bit more of a profile and also see them catching the light from the setting sun. They were very cooperative and we took quite few nice shots.

    I know these beauties, I got such a kick out them every day from the campground (right?) lol
    I think these horses loved to horse around for the viewers at the campground. Great memorable photo George

  • LOL! You’re close, but a couple of miles off :) Up the road from the campground, towards Mountain View, is a place that offers horse-riding, and when we were going back to the motel one night, Jann wanted to stop and get a whole pile of shots. These two were watching her go down the ditch and climb up the other side, while I decided to take my own shot! Remember her telling you she had stepped in an ant-hill while she was petting them?
    I do have some of the ones that you used to watch..keep tuned to this station for upcoming shots :) :)
